Alphabet soup is one of the easiest games for the ages of 6 to 9 year olds. As the letters fall into the bowl the child has to click on the letters to spell words. The more words they spell as the letters fall into the bowl, the higher their score at the end of the game.
Wordz Game is for children around 10 or 11 years of age. You are given a clue such as “Movie” and you then choose letters to try and fill in the blank boxes in order to guess the name of the movie. Children of younger years will find the usage easy but may need help with the clues.
Flash spelling game will suit the younger children very well. You are given a list with the endings of words in it and you are given a list of the start of words. The aim is to match the start and end of a word to form the whole word such as Fl and ag as Flag. This is made easier as when you move the cursor of your mouse over the end of each word it will show you a picture of a flag. I think this is especially great for younger children as it keeps their attention as you play.
Type Masta is for the older children. It shows you where the home keys are on the keyboard and you are then given letters to type as fast as you can. If you lose you are challenged to a battle and this part of the game shows competitiveness and gives the child something to achieve by beating the game.
